Longer opening time at the Uffizi and Accademia Gallery Tuscany News
From 1st July to 30th September 2008 the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery in Florence will extend the current opening hours up to 22.00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
At the Accademia Gallery the exhibition Giovanni da Milano – Gothic masterpieces from Lombardy and Tuscany will also be open until 22.00 on Thursdays, with special free entrance.

Uffizi and Academia Gallery Reservations
The easiest and cheapest way for reservation is to call Florence office on number 0031 055 294 883 from Monday to Friday 8:30-18:30 and Saturday 8:30-12:00 Florence time.
You will get an English speaking operator and in 2-3 minutes you can reserve for both Uffizi and Academia Gallery. This is through the reservation service at the Uffizi and costs beyond the normal entry 4 euro for the service. You will get your code number for reservation, with this number you need to go to the office of Uffizi Gallery to get your ticket, you will not be charged for the reservations unless you use them.
This is best way to book tickets and much cheaper than the commercial booking services.

Closed Monday, New Year’s Day, May 1st and Christmas Day.
